Welcome to my web site. Since 1983, I have been proudly serving the legal needs of Connecticut.

If you are a new home buyer, relocating, selling or refinancing your existing home, I can help you. I have 21 years of experience in all aspects of real estate closings. The personalized attention that I give to the details of your transaction have earned me an excellent reputation among real estate agents, bankers, and my colleagues. In fact, most of my real estate practice stems from referrals from mortgage brokers and bankers. In addition to the residential side of real estate transactions, I also represent individuals in commercial sales and purchases. I can also serve as an agent under a power of attorney or conservator. See my Practice Areas page for a more comprehensive list of the types of issues included in this area of my practice.

I also have an established estate planning practice which includes everything from the preparation of a simple will to complex estate planning requiring tax advice. Whether you are in need of a will, a trust, power of attorney, living will, living trust, health care directive, or complex estate administration and settlement, I can help you.

In addition to my estate planning and real estate practice, I represent individuals who have been injured as a result of the negligent acts of others. These types of cases stem from automobile accidents, slip and falls and medical malpractice cases.

Because I have a family of my own, I am sensitive to the trials and tribulations that can arise when you are faced with the care taking of an elderly or sick parent. For many people, these circumstances can be overwhelming. These emotional issues can be handled with sensitivity and caring. I have a great deal of experience with Title 19, Medicare and Medicaid planning along with the legal issues surrounding Nursing Home care. If you are faced with the difficult decision of transferring assets or placing a sick or elderly parent into a care facility, I can help you to make informed, knowledgeable choices.

Finally, my practice involves many general litigation cases. I am an experienced and aggressive litigator with experience trying cases to verdict in state and federal court. I have handled appeals in front of the Appellate and Supreme Courts in Connecticut. I also conduct arbitrations for clients.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with me to discuss your legal needs, please contact me anytime.
